Tours From Dalat
Hue Adventure Loop ( 2 nights / 3 days )
Day 1: Hoi An to Prao
We ride into the mountains behind the Hai Van Pass, following rural roads through remote mountain communities before arriving in Prao. Spend the afternoon exploring this unique and unspoiled mountain community. No other tours are savvy to this special experience.
Day 2: Prao to Hue
Day two starts with an early-morning local breakfast before we take a new section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail and cut through pristine rainforest along the Lao border and over spectacular mountain passes. Stopping for a picnic lunch at a spectacular mountain waterfall, you can cool off with a swim before we continue the journey. We travel through the A Shau Valley, famous throughout the American War, before descending to Hue City as the sun sets over the Perfume River.
Day 3: Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass
On our last day, we visit Hue’s historic monuments before riding back to Hoi An following a unique coastal route before we travel over the famous Hai Van Pass, the highest point on Highway 1 and onto Hoi An along China Beach.
( Approx. 500km )
Optional Abseiling at Marble Mountain on day 1:
We walk up Marble Mountain into the rappelling area, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
The first rappel is a short walk from the practice area and enjoys a fantastic view of the ocean. This 22 meter line has great exposure, fantastic scenery and makes you feel like you are much higher than you actually are.
Then we do our final rappel; a monster 50 meter drop into a gaping hole so deep and dark that you can’t see the bottom. This fantastic cave rappel drops right out of the jungle down into a temple chamber. Get ready for a full on Tomb Raider experience!
